I’ve done a handful of bachelorette party orders now and I’ve learned quickly that there is a very broad range of what people like to have at these events 😉 Sadly some of them are not suitable for this blog, but this order was a perfect fit!
I used bikini-shaped cookie cutters and changed up the colors and decorating to make them a little more fitting for the occasion
Some of my old favorites! They’re quite popular and I love making them 🙂
I have a couple more batches I’ll be working on over the next few weeks, so come back and visit soon! It’s been nice to get back into baking. Even spoiled myself a bit with some new baking pans, tools, and cookie cutters. I actually got my very first custom cookie cutter recently. You’ll be seeing the end result of that one soon!
If you’re in the Raleigh area, you should check out Whisk Carolina in Cary. Great products, cooking classes, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. My new favorite store!
So I went months without posting, and sadly without baking much, and now I have 2 posts within a week! First of all, Happy belated Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! These flower cookies were an order I received from a friend and former coworker of mine for a mother’s day gift for his mom 🙂 Thank you, Mitch!
Now let’s not forget about the dads. Father’s Day will be here before you know it – June 21st! For all the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill peeps – check out humblymade.com for some awesome locally designed and printed tshirts! My personal favorite:
I traveled to South Carolina for a birthday party for a dear friend this past weekend. Her sisters threw her a beautiful Cinco de Mayo themed party and I thought it was a great opportunity to make some cookies! It’s been a long time since I posted. I need to get better about this.
The cookies were a hit and I’ll be making more very soon!
Now for some real margaritas to celebrate today!
